Before we talk about systems and processes, I like to understand what success looks like for you. What kind of business are you trying to build? How do you want your business to support your life? From there, we can create the foundations, systems and ways of working that support those goals.

My focus is helping creative founders build businesses that are sustainable, profitable and enjoyable to run. Businesses that support both great creative work and a fulfilling life outside of it.

Designed to build a holistic understanding of how your studio currently operates, and where the greatest opportunities for improvement exist.

Together, we'll explore the systems and key areas that influence your business, including financial performance and capacity, team scheduling and workflow, project delivery and profitability, pipeline management, and client experience.

The outcome is a clearer understanding of your studio's current state, and a clear set of recommendations and priorities for moving forward.

Implementation Support

For studios that would like support implementing the recommendations identified through their Studio Foundations Review.

This may include improving systems, streamlining workflows, documenting processes or helping your team embed more effective ways of working.

The focus is on turning recommendations into meaningful improvements that help your business run more smoothly, efficiently and sustainably.

Ongoing Studio Support

For founders who want ongoing support, accountability and a trusted sounding board as they continue strengthening their business.

Through regular check-ins, we'll review the key indicators that matter most to your business, including cash flow, forecasting, team capacity, workflow, project profitability and pipeline performance.

By staying connected to what's happening across the business, you'll have the visibility, accountability and support needed to make timely decisions, adapt as priorities evolve and address challenges before they become overwhelming.

About Lou

My background is in Business Management, and I've spent more than 25 years working behind the scenes in small businesses, helping bring structure, clarity and better systems to the way they operate. For the past 20 years I've worked within design-led businesses and creative studios, and for the past 12 years I've run my own creative studio.

I understand how much founders carry.

My passion is helping to bring clarity to the moving parts behind the scenes. I love simple systems, thoughtful processes and practical solutions that make businesses easier to run. When the right foundations are in place, founders can make better decisions, teams feel more supported, and businesses are better positioned to grow sustainably.

I also have a deep appreciation for considered design, beautiful spaces and meaningful experiences, which is why I love working with designers and creative service businesses. By implementing the right systems, processes and ways of working, founders can spend less time feeling overwhelmed by the day-to-day demands of running their business and more time focusing on what they do best, creating exceptional work.
